My most exciting client study • Industry • Team • McKinsey: Partner (PA), AP (PA), EM (ANT), ASC (BRU) • Insurance • Location • Length • Brussels • 3 months • Client • Life insurance provider for small businesses/independents • Challenge • Pilot the program in to increase the internal efficiency – to cope with the volume growth and reduce the support from other departments (life insurance to individuals, experts) • Impact • Increased efficiency with 20% • Improved motivation of people working in the department • How I came • to be on the • project • The Engagement Manager from Brussels called me and asked me to join the project because he heard about my skills and knowledge (I had done 1 similar project before). After a few calls with staffing, checking my other options, I was confirmed on the study. • My growth • anddevelopment • During this project, I developed my people skills – managing client team members, coaching management, and creating a fun team atmosphere • Furthermore, I learned in detail about life insurances (the different types) and how they are sold (agents and back-office)
