  7. Try Color Bars and Color Boxes(but don’t outline them)

  8. Dominant Focal Point / Large Image

  9. Experiment with color schemes (and stick to one). See https://kuler.adobe.com and www.colorschemedesigner.com

  10. Try black & white with one bright color

  11. Try colored backgroundswith reverse typebut keep columns and paragraphs short and make type large enough to read.

  12. Or light and dark type on a backgrounds with medium values

  13. Try low opacity boxes and gradients.

  14. Or combine color and white backgrounds.

  15. Gray is awesome.(Try it for body copy.)

  16. Experiment with Fonts (typically 2 on a page, max 3)Below is creativity with 1 font.

  17. Use big symbols.
