NARFE Leadership Report – by Bill Austin Suggestions from Report Twenty four suggestions are included in Basically Five (5) Categories Organization Change – Making the system for us Participation – Getting everyone involved Inclusivity – Reaching out to all potential members Communications– Participate, communicate, and support our reason for existence Technical Assistance - Providing the resources, tool, and funds to do the job

ROTATIONS • There are three ROTATIONS • Chapter Presidents, Vice Presidents and Others will meet with each presenter for 30 minutes • Secretaries, Treasurers and Others will meet with each presenter • Legislative Officers and Other will also meet with each presenter
TOPICS FOR EACH ROTATION: • Review the 24 suggestions from Austin’s NARFE Leadership Report to develop • Wider Participation • Strong Chapter Leadership • Sense of Common Purpose • Teamwork • Inclusivity • Communications • Investment
Each Presenter will have 30 Minutes • A 15 minute PowerPoint presentation tailored for each group. • A 15 minute Group Session featuring questions • What do you need to improve your chapter • Who with in a chapter needs tools and resources • When and Where should assistance be provided • How do we provide the tools and resources • The discussion results will be recorded and presented during the Chapter Management Session
