  2. OUR FLAG: • The flag of Spain is formed by three horizontal stripes the top and bottom ones being red. The middles stripe is yellow, of double width.

Situation • Spain is situated under France and above the Gibraltar strait. • In Spain there are some 46.958.000 inhabitants in a territory of 504,782 square kilometers (194,896 square mile) , including the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic, and the cities of Ceuta, and Melilla.

  4. Some facts about Spain • It is a Parliamentary Monarchy • These are King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía.

  6. Capital / population • The capital of Spain is Madrid • In Madrid there are four million inhabitants
