Chapter 7. Zenda. Who went with RR to save the king?. RR went with SApt, Fritz and ten gentlemen . They were young , well educated , brave and loyal to the king. Sapt told them that D.M was trying to get the throne and he attacked the king in the summer house.

Who went with RR to save the king? • RR went with SApt, Fritz and ten gentlemen . • They were young , well educated , brave and loyal to the king. • Sapt told them that D.M was trying to get the throne and he attacked the king in the summer house. • He told them that D.M had taken one of the king’s friends in the castle of zenda and they were going to save him.

  3. “ It’s true that I love you more than life- or truth – or honour?” • RR said these words to Falvia after the grand dance. • This shows that RR loves Flavia

  4. “ How is that I love you now” Comment • Flavia said these words to RR when he confessed his love to her( when he told her that he loves her). • This shows that Flavia loves RR himself not the real king ( Rodulf the fifth)

  5. What did RR learn from the secret police reports? • He learnt that D.M and his three men and Antoinette had left for Zenda. • Detchard had a wounded arm. • The people blamed the king for no taking steps about his marriage . Also Flavia was sad.

  6. Sapt interfered in time a disaster. Illusrate. • After the dance,R.R was alone with Flavia.He wanted to tell her that he was not the real king. • R.R wanted to tell here the truth to save his honour . • Sapt interfered at the suitable time to prevent R.R from telling her the truth

  7. Why did R.R insist on going o Zenda ? What did they tell the people and Flavia? • As R.R loves Flavia he didn’t want t o deceive her any more. He insisted on going to Zenda to end up the whole story and get the king back to his people. • He told the people that he was going for a hunting trip of pigs( boars) • He told Flavia that the pig was DM.

  8. where would the stay in zenda ? Why? • They would stay in Fritz’s uncle castle in Zenda. It was on the opposite side of Michael’s castle. • It was surrounded with pigs

  9. “By God, you are the finest Elphberg of them all.”Comment • Sapt said that to R.R when he insisted on going to Zenda and saving the king and bring him back to the throne.RR wanted to save the king although this may prevent him from marrying Flavia. • Also RR appeared to be an honourable man because he refused to deceive Flavia. • This shows that Sapt respects R.R
