Ex: The grotesque details classified It as an abominable crime. 4. assimilating (v.) : taking in and integrating. Ex: Many of these religious traditions have been assimilated into the culture. 5. composite (adj.) : made up of distinct parts. Ex: the movie’s special effects included the use of many composite photographs. 6. interspersed (v.) : to insert at intervals among other things. Ex: You should intersperse these pictures evenly throughout the book.
