Preparation • Prepare a Cover Letter for each Church • Include Association’s Due Date and Reporting Period • Association phone number and email address • The URL website to find Instruction Booklet and Resources (www.gbcresearch.com) • What to do when they’ve completed the online or paper process. • See the sample cover letter in your packet

  11. Preparation Each church will receive: Cover Letter from their Association ACP Form Church Leadership Profile Other Church Info Form (optional) #9 Envelope

  12. Preparation Include all materials a church should receive along with the #9 envelope and place in the 6 x 9 envelope

  13. Suggestion . . . If you know which churches will fill out their ACPs online you may choose to email them a cover letter that only includes a link to resources to assist with completing the ACP and Leadership Profiles online. Don’t forget to include a due date, login/passwords and an Other Church Information form. www.gbcresearch.com

  14. For Spanish-Speaking Churches . . . You will receive an ACP form in Spanish for each of your Hispanic congregations. Also included is a sample cover letter, blank leadership profile and instructions for completing them in Spanish. They will also be available online and on your CD.

  15. How do I encourage my churches to turn in an ACP?

  16. Suggestions . . . Try emailing one week before due date Follow up on the due date with a phone call As a last resort email the short form or try to obtain the basic numbers over the phone

  17. Master List of Congregations Notes 1: Please use the MLOC for your checklist as congregations complete their ACP process (Statistics and Leadership)

  18. Master List of Congregations Notes 2: As a congregation finishes, check the box and circle the ‘method’ of completion (P – paper sent to GBC, C – Church online, A – Association online on behalf of church)

  19. Master List of Congregations Notes 3: If you discover that a church is listed incorrectly (status/name change), please send in a Church Information Update Form

  20. Master List of Congregations Notes 4: When ACP process is complete for Association, return MLOC to Information Services. If you have used paper method, it’s OK to just include MLOC with all other paper sent to Research Services, though.

  21. Complete the Process Evaluate the ACPs & Leadership Profiles as they are completed. Enter paper forms online from Association office. Notify Research when all ACPs have been received.

ACP Process Using Online Entry • Read the ACP Instruction Booklet and/orPrint a Copy from http://www.gbcresearch.com • Locate your username and password on the 2013 ACP form • Enter your ACP statistical data and your Leadership Profile information • Print copies for your files • Contact your Association when you have completed the 2013 ACP and Leadership forms
