Introduction: The world is in desperate straits. It is full of darkness – the darkness of sin and despair, of sickness and death, of corruption and hell. The darkness looms over the whole world. Jesus has to come into the world as light to shined and give us a light.

We have learned John’s first witnesses about Jesus is the “Word” and the Word was God. The second witnesses of John is about Jesus is the Light of the World.

  10. 1. Njang se njang nyei yaac cing-nzengc nyei: yaac nzengc nye longx nyei. Giduc yaac fih hnangv nyei (E^fe^so 5:8). 1. Light is clear and pure: it is clean and good. So is Christ (Ephesians 5:8).

Bun jauv njang tengx mbuo haih mangc duqv buatc jauv: Giduc yaac fih hnangv nyei (Yo^han 14:6) 4. Light reveals: it opens up the truth of an area, a whole new world and life. It clears up the way to the truth and life. So does Christ (John 14:6).

It directs the way to go, leads along the right path. So does Christ (John 14:6).

Jesus said, “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” (John 3:21)

Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

Today, we have learned that Jesus is the Light. And those who believed in Him are the people of light. And we must act according to the light.
