Or, more briefly… • Prisoners need: • To be able to know and understand treatment and screening policies/protocols (Topic 1) • Fewer barriers to screening, counseling, and medical care (Topics 2 and 3) • Better education and educational materials for prevention and self-care (Topic 3) • An accessible and effective means for grieving when things aren’t right (Topic 4)

  6. So… why are we here? • To work together to promote access to appropriate viral hepatitis screening, treatment, and care for the nation’s prisoners. • To share resources and information. • To create forum for collaboration.
