Master plate to Child (Aliquot) plate Master plate Child (aliquot) plate An aliquot of X (unit) of SampleA01 in MasterPlate_01A should be transferred to well ChildPlate_01A and named according to NamingConvention for aliquots; An aliquot of X (unit) of SampleA02 in MasterPlate_02A should be transferred to well ChildPlate_02A and named according to NamingConvention for aliquots; etc. until all transfers have been completed through well H11. Wells B07, B10, C05, C11, C02, D06, E01, F04, F09, G03, G08, and H12 will remain empty/blank in the Child plate as in the Master plate. This can apply to any plate layout type but will most frequently be used with 96 and 384-well plates.
