  5. passes • Each school will receive Seven (7) floor/locker-room access passes • Coaches, managers, statisticians, trainers, medical personnel, administrators, etc. • Each person will be checked off the list as they enter the facility. • If anyone loses or misplace passes, they will have to purchase a ticket to enter the facility. • See OFFICIAL PARTY GATE LIST Form

  6. cheerleaders • Cheerleaders from participating schools (same number who cheered for varsity games during the regular season). • Two (2) adult sponsors/coaches will be given free admission for only those sessions in which its team is scheduled to play. • A maximum of 16 cheerleaders will be allowed onto the floor. • Extra cheerleaders will be required to pay of admission and sit in the stands.

  7. Pep bands • A pep band from participating schools • Maximum of 15 including one director • free admission for only those sessions in which its team is scheduled to play. • Pep band seating will be assigned by the FHSAA.

  8. Facility entry Entrance to The Lakeland Center (TLC) is one hour 30 minutes (1:30) prior to the start of each session. We expect each participating team to be at TLC a minimum of one hour prior to scheduled tip time. All players and coaches of participating teams must use the “Player Pass Gate.” Teams may come dressed or dress at TLC. Participating teams shall be assigned to a dressing room adjacent (to the west) to the “Player Pass Gate.”

  10. Game day schedule • 15-minute warm-up period prior to the start of each game. • Spalding Legacy basketballs will be provided. • Warm-ups will be done at the basket at the opposite end of the court from where they will be sitting.

Game day schedule • Teams may not practice on the Lakeland Center court at any other time. • For the 1st game in each semifinal session and championship game, the 15-minute warm-up period will begin approximately 25 minutes prior to game time “tip-off. • Teams shall submit their rosters and starting line-ups to the official scorer immediately after starting their pre-game warm-up.

  12. brackets • Those teams whose names are placed on the Bottom Line of each bracket shall be designated as the home team and shall wear White jerseys. • Each team shall bring both sets of jerseys to The Lakeland Center. • The Home team shall sit on the left side of the scorer and timer as you look at the court from behind the scorer’s table.

Mandatory team photo/ Ring session • Each participating school is required to be present in the team locker room area in full uniform for your team photo and ring sizing as follows: • Visiting team – • 1 hour, 10 minutes prior to the tip-off time • Home team – • 1 hour, prior to the tip-off time

Pregame time schedule • FIRST GAME IN EACH SEMIFINAL SESSION & CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES • Minutes Game • to Tip Clock Description • 27:00 15:00 Teams begin warm-up. • 12:00 0:00 Teams report to their respective team benches. • PA Announcer begins script. • National Anthem. Coaches, players and team attendants line up on sideline in front of their bench, face the flag and stand at attention during the performance of “The Star Spangled Banner.” • 8:00 ----- Introduction of “visiting team” non-starters, then “home” team non-starters, then starters and head coaches for both teams alternating between visiting team and home team. Players proceed from team bench to free-throw circle in front of their respective benches as their names are called. • 0:00 8:00 Game clock reset. Tip off.

Pregame time schedule • SECOND GAME IN EACH SEMIFINAL SESSION • (clock begins ~3 minutes following completion of first game in session) • Minutes Game • to Tip Clock Description • 23:00 15:00 Teams begin warm-up. • 8:00 0:00 Teams report to their respective team benches. • PA Announcer begins script. • ----- Introduction of “visiting team” non-starters, then “home” team non-starters, then starters and head coaches for both teams alternating between visiting team and home team. Players proceed from team bench to free-throw circle in front of their respective benches as their names are called. • 0:00 8:00 Game clock reset. Tip off.

  16. Tv time outs • WHEN: With less than 4:00 minutes remaining in each quarter • the ball going out of bounds, • a held ball, • a non-shooting foul being called • the thrower making the last free throw of a series of free throws. • PROCEDURE: As the TV coordinator located at the scorer’s table stands he/she shall request the timer to sound the horn. The game officials shall signal a timeout (raised arm) and point to the scorer’s table. When 5 seconds remain in the TV timeout, the TV coordinator shall visually count down the remaining seconds. After the TV timeout, only one horn will be sounded to conclude the timeout

  17. Tv time outs LENGTH: ~45 seconds TEAMS: Participating teams may either remain on the court or sit on the bench. CHEERLEADERS: May stand and cheer from their courtside position but may not go onto the playing floor. PEP BANDS: May play during this dead ball period. NOTE: IF either team requests a timeout during this time frame, the timeout shall be charged to the team requesting the timeout and shall last a minimum of time needed as outlined above (if a 30-second timeout is requested) or one minute (if a full timeout is requested).

  18. Game day schedule • Halftime: • The court will not be available to teams for half-time warm-ups until the 3-minute mark on the game clock. Teams should plan accordingly.

  19. Awards presentation procedures • Participation IS MANDATORY. No exceptions will be made. • Completed “Awards Presentation Lineup Sheet” on which are to be listed the names of up to a maximum of 22 individuals who will receive medallions during the awards ceremony. • This sheet must also include the name of the “Presenter” for the school. • Must be given to the PA announcer prior to the start of pregame warmups. • Start five (5) minutes following the completion of the championship game.

  20. Awards presentation procedures • Both teams will return to their respective team benches and prepare to line up in the order that they will receive their medallions as listed on the “Awards Presentation Lineup Sheet.” • Head Coach, • Assistant Coaches, • Players in numerical order of their jerseys • Managers. • Schools shall not alter the sheet to deviate from this order. • A total of twenty-two (22) medallions are available for presentation to the champion and runner-up teams.

  21. Game day schedule • Postgame Press Conference • Conducted following the conclusion of each game. • Each head coach is required to attend this press conference. • Media representatives may request up to three (3) players. • losing team will be taken first; followed by the winning team. • The press conference will last from 10 to 15 minutes. • You will be given approx. 5 min. before the conference. • One-on-one interviews may be granted by the head coach.
