Welcome. Who Am I?. Musician. I play many different types of instruments, including the Trumpet, Guitar, Piano, and many more. Been a part of the symphonic band at Clio high school since my Freshman year, as well as the Concert Choir. Sing and perform in my praise band at my church.

  2. Who Am I?

  3. Musician • I play many different types of instruments, including the Trumpet, Guitar, Piano, and many more. • Been a part of the symphonic band at Clio high school since my Freshman year, as well as the Concert Choir. • Sing and perform in my praise band at my church.

  4. Academic • Maintained a 3.3 GPA throughout my high school career. • I have taken the most rigorous of classes available including AP Language/ AP Literature, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus. • Currently a Cadet teacher for Honors Sophomore Seminar. • Earned a 25 composite score on the ACT . • Have participated in Science Olympiad and the annual Flint Metro League Math and Science competition.

  5. Community Service • Received over 95 hours of community service. • Mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program at the middle school during my Sophomore year. • Participated in the annual Gleaner Green Day where students come together to clean up the Clio park and amphitheater.

  6. Community Service (con.) • I have also worked at the North End Soup Kitchen (N.E.S.K) in Flint to serve the homeless and needy who cannot afford meals during the day.

  7. Accomplishments • First place in the annual talent show in both my Junior and Senior years. • Received the Most Outstanding Junior and Most Outstanding Senior awards in band. • Participated in the Holiday Pops concert at the Whiting auditorium in December of my Junior and Senior years.

  8. Accomplishments (con.) • Earned straight ones in both district and state Solo Ensemble. • Became an international ambassador of music.

  11. Career Pathway: Health & Human Services Career Choice: Anesthesiology

  12. Goals • By June 2012, I will graduate from Clio high school with at least a 3.3 GPA. • By Fall 2012, I will be enrolled and moved into Western Michigan University where I will study Biomedical Sciences in order to prepare for medical school.

  13. Goals (con.) • By 2016, I will graduate from Western Michigan University with a bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences. • By Fall 2016, I will be attending medical school at Western Michigan University where I will earn my M.D. in Anesthesiology.

  14. Goals (con.) • Ten years from now I will be in my second year of residency at my hospital of choice, serving the community and pursuing my career as an Anesthesiologist.

  15. How Will I Get There? I will use my four years of college to study rigorously for my career After college, I will take my MCAT to become part of the Western Michigan School of Medical Practicing After I graduate from medical school, I will continue through my residency at the hospital I become a part of After I finish my residency, I will have completed my aspiration and will be working as an anesthesiologist in the medical field
