Explore the intricate relationships of cause and effect that shape our world. This comprehensive guide delves into causal analysis, illustrating how past situations lead to present scenarios and future outcomes. Through engaging examples, such as urban growth due to job availability and the consequences of deforestation, you'll learn to define and visualize these connections. Join us in collaborative exercises to map out real-life scenarios, enabling a deeper understanding of how actions and events influence one another.

Cause and Effect Seeing the Structure within the Information
Defining Cause and Effect A relationship between actions or events such that one or more are the result of the other or others.
Causal Analysis Focuses on explanations that show a connection between a situation and its cause or effect. It answers either question: • Why did this happen? • What will this do?
Make it Visual Cause (Past) Situation (Present) Effect (Future) ‘ S happened because of past C’s ’ ‘E will happen because present S or past C’s’
