Architecture is the art, science, and PROFESSIONof planning, designing, and supervising the construction of new buildings, landscapes, communities, and furnishings in their totality, examining their environment in accordance with the principles of utility, strength, and aesthetics.   4. Occupations require expertise, training, and skill. Professions also require expertise, training, and skill. However, professions are based in fields of higher learning Occupation vs Profession • Why is it important for professions to be based in higher learning? • The judgments of professionals can either benefit or endanger the public good.
