  4. Current Iraqi Government • On January 30th, 2005, the Iraqis elected a 275 member transitional National Assembly. On December 15, 2005 they voted in a nation-wide election for a permanent 4 year National Assembly

  5. deBa’athification • Military officers above the colonel rank were banned from returning to work, as long as 100,000 other members of the Iraqi’s various intelligence services.

  6. Disbanding the Iraqi Government • Since the total disbanding of the Iraqi Army in 2003, coalition trainers have recruited and trained more than 129,000 Iraqi troops in 10 divisions
