Ad SFF-prosessen: Det var 29 søknader (av totalt 139) som gikk til finalerunden. Av disse kom 10 fra Universitetet i Oslo. Og 4 av disse fra MN-Fakultetet. I tillegg gikk Simulasenteret videre med en søknad der IFI har ca 50% andel.

  2. Ingen av instituttets 4 SFF søknader gikk videre til finalerunden. Vi deltok også i to søknader innsendt fra Bergen, en fra Institutt for Geofag og to søknader innsendt fra SMN. Ingen av disse gikk heller videre. For de andre fysikkinstituttene i Norge kom det ingen søknader videre fra NTNU, men det var en fra UiB (Romforskning) og en fra UiT (Radar remote sensing) 1 Anette Gunnæs, Clas Persson 2 Ed Monachov, Yuri Galperine 3 Hans Pecseli 4 Jan Olav Eeg, Alex Read, Farid Ould-Saada Det er også en innsendt søknad fra UiB der Morten Hjorth-Jensen, Trine Tveter og Larissa Bravina er deltakere men hvor FI ikke utgjør en egen node i senteret.
