  7. PROCESSED COMMODITIES • 46 Approved Processors/44 NPA • SPA by Request • Schools select products, delivery schedules, value pass thru methods, storage, and distribution of end products • Constantly Growing Percentage of Entitlement

  10. WAREHOUSES • No State Owned/All Commercial • State Divided Into 3 Regions • 2 Regions Delivery/1 Pick Up • 1 School District Gets Direct Delivery • 4 Districts Get 60% Direct Delivery

  11. FINANCES • Costs Depend On Region • .85 per case Administrative Fee • No Fee on Processed Commodities • RAs Responsible for All Costs

  12. ECOS • All RAs Place Requisitions, Track Orders, Monitor Entitlement in ECOS • All Warehouses/Processors Receive Orders and Get Allocations From ECOS • RA Notification of Commodity Delivery Based on ECOS Email

  13. PRE-TRAINING SESSIONS • Learn ECOS “Inside and Out” As RA • Set Up RAs on Both ECOS Sites • Sent RAs Test Site Log In and Password Prior to Session • Scavenger Hunt

  14. ECOS TRAINING • Five Initial Training Sessions • 20- Person Maximum • Held in Computer Lab

  15. TRAINING SESSIONS • Performed All ECOS Functions On Test Site • Free Time to Practice • Placed Actual Requisitions In Afternoon • Later Reduced Sessions To 3 Hours

  16. FOLLOW UP • Phone Resource • Site Visits • Prize Messages Before Meetings • RCCIs/Nonpubs Need Most Attention
