  2. Hindu Semi circle rectangle The Laxminarayan Temple , also known as the Birla Mandir , is a Hindu temple dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi, India. The temple is built in honour of Lakshmi ,and her consort Narayana. In Hinduism much importance is given to the symbols than most other religions. The Hindu symbols range from the mark one puts on the forehead to the idols of the deities that get worshipped by the ardent Hindu devotees. Each one has its own significance.

  3. Muslim Semi circle Ajmer is venerated as a holy place for both Hindus and Muslims. It has the mausoleum of the Sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, whose blessings are eagerly sought by pilgrims to his dargah. Known as the ‘Dargah Sharif’, the last resting place of the saint who died in 1235 lies at the foot of a barren hill. "The star and crescent" was first hoisted on behalf of the Muslims by Mahomet II after the capture of Constantinople in 1453 CE. Prior to that, it was common on the arm of knight and esquires. A star within a crescent was a badge of Richard I, 250 years before Constantinople fell. They quit using it  when it became the banner of Muslims. It has been used more and more ever since by Muslims in a way to identify themselves.

  4. Sikh Rectangle Line segment Gurdwara is the name given to the Sikh's place of worship. The Sikh scriptures are recited or sung and sermons are delivered. However, only some of these symbols apply to all people. Ek-Onkar , Khanda , Kesh, Kangha, Kara, Kachhera, Kirpan, Nishaand Sahib

  5. Christian Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is one of the best known and visited churches in India. The likes of Sir Edwin Lutyens, Father Luke and Henry Medd have been associated with The Church of Redemption. Line segment Christian symbolism invests objects or actions with an inner meaning expressing Christian ideas. Christianity has borrowed from the common stock of significant symbols known to most periods and to all regions of the world.
