Enjoy a three day expedition to the Crinan Canal and the ancient coastal kingdom of Dalriada, cradle of the Scottish nation, and a landscape unbelievably rich in natural and historic wonders. Departing from Greenock the tour will sail via the Kyles of Bute to Tarbert, Loch Fyne for lunch and a visit to the galleries, craft shops and Bruce’s Castle before arriving at the Crinan Canal. Highlights include an evening safari to the home of the Knapdale beavers, a guided tour through the Crinan Canal ‘the UK’s prettiest shortcut’ and a trip through Kilmartin Glen, visiting Dunadd, the crowning place of Scotland’s ancient Kings, and the award winning Kilmartin House Museum. The tour will return to Greenock via the stunning Portavadie Marina and the Narrows at the Kyles of Bute.
