2. GETTING OUR EGGS!! temperature. Trout eggs Yay!! Turkey baster testing. US CHEKING THE TEMPERATURE WITH DavY. THIS IS THEM IN THE BAG AND GOING INTO THE TANK. THIS IS US LEARNING HOW TO USE THE TURKEY BASTER.

3. Alevins!! Turning into alevins alevins Tom and jerry We got 200 brown trout eggs and we hatched them into little alevins with a yolk sac on their belly to eat. Our alevins were very small. We were very happy that they had all hatched into alevins!! we had a fish that had two heads and they were called tom and jerry.

4. Day release Fish bagging Ready to release our fish Releasing our fishes DavY and heather cAme to our School to bag the fish for us. We were all sad to see the fish go into the river clyde. This is a picture of aMY and morgan releasing the fish .

Letting the alevins go This IS A PICTURE OF US LETTING THE ALEVINS GO First day at home This is tom and jerry WHEN WE WERE AT THE RIVER Clyde it looked like the water was high and when we WERE putting them in they LOOKED camouflageD . The fish were released in the water and took to their new home swimmingly. This is tom and jerry being released into the clyde .we hope they survive.

7. Bye bye We were very sad and lonely that we let our best friends go !! We released the trout under The Clyde bridge.

8. Stage display We worked hard trying to find out the stages of the brown trout and sea trout too. The life cycle starts off as an egg, alevin, fry, parr, brown trout and mature brown trout

10. Brown trout facts Once a brown trout egg hatches it becomes an alevin. The eggs are laid in gravel which is also a redd. You can get either a mature sea trout or brown trout.

WE USED OUR KNOWLEFGE OF FINS TO LABEL THEM. Our class did powerpoints on laptops they were about clyde In the classroom. WE DELIVERED THEM TO THE WHOLE SCHOOL AT AN ASSEMBLY.

12. River clyderiver clyde THE RIVER CLYDE IS THE 3RD BIGGEST RIVER IN SCOTLAND. IT STARTS AT THE MOUNTAINS AND HILLS AS A TINY TRiCkLE AND GETS BIGGER AND BIGGER AS IT FLOWS WHich IS CALLED A MEANDER.

13. Waterfalls • CorraLinn is the highest waterfall on the River Clyde with a fall of 84 feet which is 25m. • There are 4 waterfalls on the River Clyde -BonningtonLinn,DunndaffLinn, CorraLinn and StonebyresLinn. • The Falls of Clyde make a good habitat for badgers, roe deer and peregrine falcons.

14. RECYCLE Be eco friendly BECAUSE RUBBISH AND LITTER ARE GETTING PUT IN THE RIVER CLYDE AND WE WOULD VERY MUCH WANT IT TO STOP. TROUT AND OTHER CREATURES ARE GETTING HURT BADLY.
