Supporting your language learner Going to community cultural events, museums, restaurants, etc. Ask your child to try to teach you something they are learning … take a risk and try to use the language a little (model interest and excitement for language) Listen to music and TV in the language they are learning Watch foreign films together Talk about the importance of languages in the workplace Travel
