  1. “North Korea is Invulnerable”Kim Jongil Current event By. Dongmyung Lee

  2. Who? • North Korea • Kim Jong Il

  3. What? • Kim jongil stated that North Korea will never die. • Kim jongil was watching the North Korean army doing a firing drill and said that it is the strongest army. • Few weeks ago people thought Kim jongil was very ill or dead, but he inspected a tank unit in his first public appearance of the year.

  4. When? • January 5th. 2009 - Kim jongil stated that North Korea is invulnerable. • January 3rd. 2009 - Kim jongil visited the army

  5. Where? • North Korea

  6. Why? • This is news worthy because if North Korea survives for a long time, they will get more nuclear weapons. Therefore, other countries will be afraid that North Korea will attack them. • It is also newsworthy because North Korea is now threatening other nations. And if N.K is invulnerable like Kim Jongil said, than they will threaten forever even they don’t really have the power.

  7. How? • North Korea is a big issue, due to its nuclear-arms, dictator, and is often referred as the very last communist state in the world. Being a Korean myself, this news article makes me wonder about the future of North Korea, the future of the Korean peninsula for that matter, and also want to know the truth about the rumors disputing about Kim Jong Il’s health, whether he is really ill or he is healthy. A sudden death of a dictator like him can cause a major impact in North Korea, for he hasn’t announced his successor, as well as its neighboring countries including the United States. As of right now, reading this article, nothing is certain.
