  3. Introduction We chose to do Tudor music because we play the recorder (and that was an instrument in the Tudor times). We also chose Tudor food because its an every day thing that you eat.

  4. Tudor Food The slaves would cook for 800 people 2 times a day. There were lots of rooms like larders, dining room, Cole room, meat and fish room and the scullery. The scullery is the room were they prepared the food. There were lots of dishes such as meat, fish , peacock and sometime even whale!!! The dishes made oaten which is a kind of rough clay and tables were made of oak. The rich people were very greedy and did not wait to be served , they just dug in.

  5. Tudor Music In Tudor Times the rich people had some entertainment while having dinner. They also had beautiful music played to them. The type of instruments they had were called: recorder, organ, drums, harpsichord and lute.

  6. King Henry Vlll and His Music King Henry was known to have made the tune Greensleaves but there have big debates about this. They have found out it was not him who made it. Henry owned: • 78 flutes • 78 recorders • 10 trombones • 14 trumpets • 5 bagpipes
