  1. Notices: • Please make sure that your children have a change of clothes in preschool – especially for Tuesday afternoons! • We have set up a mud kitchen in the garden and would appreciate any donations of any unwanted utensils such as wooden spoons, spatulas, baking tins, saucepans, jugs etc. – many thanks • We are currently recruiting for an additional member of staff to join the team. If you are interested in joining us please speak to Julie by Wednesday 12th February. • Please note that the hours that someone is in the office are: Monday pm, Wed pm, Thurs all day. At other times if you phone and leave a voice message, some one will pick up your message at the end of the session. • Reminder that Fees for French Lessons are now due. • Reminder: Have you signed up yet to join Oxfordshire Libraries? Please complete the form “Oxfordshire Libraries Under 15s Joining Form” available at the library, your child can then take a book home from the Library bus without needing a ticket with them. • Forest School Holiday Club in Brightwell: Places still available for Tuesday 18th February. Please speak to Julie for further information. • Term finishes on Friday 14th February for half term. Term 4 starts on Monday 24th February. • Dates for your diaries: • Welly Walk Saturday: 1st March • Picnic Lunch for parents and children, please bring a sandwich and join us for lunch @ 11.45am on Friday 7th March. • Working Party: Saturday 22nd March to help tidy up decking and garden area- refreshments provided. • Next PGM Thursday 27th March. • Parents Evening: Thursday 3rd April • This week we have… • Look at the book “Handa’s Surprise”, learning about African fruit and animals. We have made a model African village, looked at and tasted some African fruits, made African necklaces, pita bread, animal masks and set up our mud kitchen. We have also had lots of fun pretending to be African animals on Old MacDonald’s African Farm and dancing to “See the little elephants (etc.) sleeping…” !! • Next week… • We will be looking at the story “Aliens Love Underpants”. • Show and Tell: • Letter of the week will be “R, r”. Please also feel free to bring in anything relating to aliens or space! This Week At Allsorts03/02/2014
