  1. This week we have… • Been for a walk to see the school chickens and collected sticks for an enormous hedgehog on our Autumn display board. • Tuesday afternoon: we put the preschool waterproofs on and went for a nature walk, splashing in lots of puddles and in the stream on the way • Arts and Crafts/Cookery: we made some Autumn trees and some “Insect homes” which are now in the garden • Music and Movement: This week Julie brought in her guitar to show the children. If you have a musical instrument that you could bring in to show the children we would love to hear from you. If you hear some unusual singing it may be the African harvest song we are learning! We have also played musical instruments and danced with scarves this week. • Next week… • Please, please bring back any library books that you have at home or take them to your local library. • Coffee morning for all parents at 11.15am on Wednesday • Notices/Dates: • Could you please try not to send your children in to preschool wearing tights on a Tuesday morning as the time needed to change in and out of them is eating into our PE session! We do PE in bare feet, so short socks with leggings or trousers would be much appreciated – thank you! • 2 Year Checks – if you have questionnaires completed by your health visitor when your child turned 2, could you please bring them in for us to photocopy and keep on file. This is an Ofsted requirement. Thank you. • Tomorrow - Sat 21st Sept: 2-4pm Teddy bear drop at St Agathas church. Take your teddy bear to St. Agatha’s church. Refreshments are available and children’s activities are provided. • Sat 28th September: We will be holding a working garden party from 10am. Please come along and support us. Children welcome. Coffee and snacks provided! • Wed 2nd October: 2-4pm Tempest Photography are coming in to take professional family photos. We will put a sign up sheet in the lobby. • Wed 16th October: drinks at 7.45 for 8pm start: AGM. Please come along to find out more about how the preschool runs • Letter of the Week/Show and Tell – Letter of the week next week is “C, c”. • From the Committee: • Many thanks to all the parents who came along to the PGM this week.
