1. Notices: • We would like the children to all register to join Oxfordshire Libraries. If you could complete the form “Oxfordshire Libraries Under 15s Joining Form” available at the library, your child can then take a book home from the Library bus without needing a ticket with them. Many thanks. • We are planning a trip to see “The Gruffalo” at the Hexagon in Reading. Date tbc. • The next PGM is on 4th February. 7.45 for an 8pm start. All welcome. • We are currently trialing a Wednesday afternoon session, please let us know asap if you would like your child to attend. • This week we have… • Had a fabulous time looking at “The Gruffalo”. Thank you to all the children who brought related items in. Highlights have been making scrambled snake and owl ice cream and playing in a “logpile house den”. • Next week… • We will be looking at story: “The Weather Monster”. • Show and Tell: • Letter of the week will be “P,p”. • For new parents: Each week we have a letter that we use with the children through the day, so for example next week we may be eating lots of apples for snack! We also encourage the children to bring in something from home to show to the other children, this could be something beginning with the week’s letter, or something which shows what they have been doing at home, or just a favourite toy (please don’t bring in anything too valuable/treasured!)
