  2. My Real world problem • Dejanea and 7 of her friends are going a party. To get into the party it cost $5.75 each. How much would it cost for Dejanea and her friends to get stamped into the party.

  3. My equation • The equation to my problem is: y=5.75 or f(x)=5.75x X=the number of people paying to get stamped Y=the total cost of everyone getting in.

  4. Independent and dependent • The independent variable is my x which is the number of people getting stamped. • The dependent variable is my y which is the total cost.

  7. Continuous or Discrete • The data is discrete because individual points that would not be connected when graphed. Not all rational values define the domain.

  8. Is it a function? • My X-values DO NOT repeat so, yes it is a function

  10. Party over……. • So in the end it took $46.00 for Dejanea and her 7 friends to get in the pumped party. • Time To Go Home.!!!!!
