Lizzy and her friends went to Best Buy, to buy some CD’s it was 3 for 24.00 How much would it be if she bought 5.

- Independent variables- The independent variable is X which is the number of CD’s
- Dependent variables- The dependent variable is Y which is the amount it cost
- Y depends on X

Domain- all the X values

Range- all the Y values

(8, 16, 24, 32, 40)

Discrete, because that’s as far as you need to go to answer the question.

Every CD cost 8 dollars a piece,

& since I want 5 CD’s it will cost 40 dollars total.

& that is my real world problem :)
