  2. Warm-Up- Nouns- 9/19/12 Copy the sentences. Underline all of the nouns in each sentence. • One day a countryman looked into the nest of his goose; there the man found an egg, yellow and glittering. • He picked the egg up; it was as heavy as lead. • The countryman took the egg home and he found, to his delight, that it was an egg of pure gold. • Every morning, the man found another gold egg.

  3. Warm-Up- Nouns- 9/19/12 Copy the sentences.   4. Nouns from Science Brainstorm as many nouns as you can with terms from Science- Ch. 1, 2 & 18- Write 1 noun per Post-It with marker

  6. Exit Slip On loose leaf paper, write heading in upper right corner. Title the paper- Exit Slip. Then answer the questions below. Today was a review of nouns. What did you learn from today’s activity? Did the activity help you to identify nouns better than before? Was this activity helpful or useful? Why or why not?

Write C for common and P for proper over each noun. • Joey plans to visit his grandparents in Sidney, Australia. • His grandparents moved there last March. • Australia is a continent south of the equator. • Joey hopes to see kangaroos, wombats, bandicoots, and dingoes during his visit.
