  3. Tenements- flat’s often small and cramped. Close- Close ally way’s with a dead end Cellars- are terrible cold, damp & dark places to live. The worst house’s in a slum

  4. Diseases • Cholera • Can kill in hours • First you get a violent stomach ache, then you’re sick and you have diahhorea then they collapse and go cold the pulse goes weak the skin turns blue and then they died • 40 to 60% of victims died

  5. SewerageSystems • Most streets just had a privy at the end of the street shared by all in the street it became a cess pit this is a breeding place for germs. • Unless you were rich then you had a proper toilet.
