  5. Where is it celebrated? • At the temple priest hits big bell. 108 times • At home we eat new year soba. • (;_;) • We don`t sleep on Dec 31 • (>_<)

How is celebrated? • We eat special new years food in Japanese called osechi • We play with a old fashioned toys children fly kites • We go to the temple to hits the bell • Older family members give children money about $350 is received. in Japanese called otosidama • We buy licecakes and clementines. Tomake a tower in Japanese called kagamimoch • Friends send family new yaers postcards. They are oll delivered on Jan1.
