  4. لوقا 19 1 پس وارد اریحا شده، از آنجا می گذشت.  2که ناگاه شخصی زکی نام که رئیس باجگیران و دولتمند بود،  3خواست عیسی را ببیند که کیست و از کثرت خلق نتوانست، زیرا کوتاه قد بود.  4پس پیش دویده بردرخت افراغی برآمد تا او را ببیند. چونکه اومی خواست از آن راه عبور کند.  5و چون عیسی به آن مکان رسید، بالا نگریسته او را دید و گفت: «ای زکی بشتاب و به زیر بیا زیرا که باید امروز درخانه تو بمانم.»  6پس به زودی پایین شده او را به خرمی پذیرفت.7و همه چون این را دیدند، همهمه‌کنان می‌گفتند که در خانه شخصی گناهکار به میهمانی رفته است.  8اما زکی برپا شده به خداوند گفت: «الحال‌ای خداوند نصف مایملک خود را به فقرامی دهم و اگر چیزی ناحق از کسی گرفته باشم، چهار برابر بدو رد می‌کنم.»  9عیسی به وی گفت: «امروز نجات در این خانه پیدا شد. زیرا که این شخص هم پسر ابراهیم است. 10زیرا که پسرانسان آمده است تا گمشده را بجوید و نجات‌بخشد.» Presentation 22

  5. A Man With A Dream Zacchaeus was a victim of his greed, and blind to the hardship he caused others. “I have the permission of the Romans to collect extra for myself. It’s my reward for the difficult job I do. I behave no differently from any other tax-collector”. Presentation 22

The Solution Unfolds Jesus makes a difference: Jesus takes the initiative. و از آنجا که احتیاج نداشت که کسی درباره انسان شهادت دهد، زیراخود آنچه در انسان بود می‌دانست . یوحنا 25.2 Jesus saw a man who was spiritually lost. Jesus holds out hope. “I’m coming for tea”. Grace is scorned by the crowd. Presentation 22
