  2. Degree of Consistency Competency level is related to a school leader’s degree of consistency in demonstrating excellent performance. Do they demonstrate effective performance every time? Few people are perfect 100% of the time, but “effective” is defined as meeting the standard consistently, with no more than 1-2 exceptions. Throughout the SLE, the four words to describe degree of consistency are defined as follows:
