  1. Digestive disease Tell me what it is, how you get it, what happens to the system, does the body try to fix itself, what medicines do you need to take and is it curable?

  2. what it is • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome • Is a rare disorder caused by a tumor in the pancrease

  3. How do you get it? • Having a tumor in your pancreas. • Symptoms include- • Chronic diarrhea • Nausea • Vomiting • Blood in stool, tar-black or red color • Trouble swallowing • Sour, bitter taste in mouth

  4. what happens to the system • Causes over-production of stomach acid in the digestive tract.

  5. Does the body try to fix its self? • It may try to heal itself but, in all cases you will need a doctor to prescribe you of a certain medicine or refer you to surgery.

  6. Medicine needed • Proton pump inhibitors • But most people get surgery to remove the tumor, which in most cases, the doctors will have to remove part of the stomach pancreas and/or liver

  7. Is it curable • It is curable! • The medicine may work, if not, it will be removed and gone!
