Born in 2006 or 2007 Sub Bantam 7-8 Year Olds Born in 2004 or 2005 Bantam 9-10 Year Olds Born in 2002 or 2003 Midget 11-12 Year Olds Born in 2000 or 2001 Youth 13-14 Year Olds NOT BY AGE Athlete May Be 8 Today But Turns 9 in November? He Is a 9-10 Yr Old Not a 7-8 Year Old Age Groups - Year of BirthAge Control Date – December 31, 2014

State Meet Entries • Due Monday, May 5th at 5:00 p.m. • Submitted by District Meet Hosts • Must Use Entry Forms Provided - Mandatory • District Meet Results & Rosters - Mandatory • Utilize Coaches/Agency Reps For Entry Forms • GRPA Fines Imposed on Agencies With Incomplete Entries, Rosters, and District Results

  7. State Meet Entries – con’t District Host Using Hytek? • Email Hytek Backup of District Meet to rmartin@augustaga.gov & msroczynski@augustaga.gov • No Need to Send Entry Forms or Results • Must Still Send In Rosters

State Meet Entries – con’t • Individual Events – Top 3 Per District – Regardless of Agency • One 4x100m and One 4x400m Relay Per District • Entry Fees - Make Check Payable to ARPFD • $6.00 Per Individual Event • $12.00 Per Relay • Example – John Doe in 3 Individual Events? = $18.00 • Scratch Deadline 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 9 – Absolute Deadline • Scratch Fee $10 after Deadline Including No Shows • Invoice will be submitted & Pay Fee to GRPA

GRPA Rules • Governing Rules - Hershey, GRPA, and GHSA • Maximum Individual Athlete Entries – 3 • Two Running and One Field or Vice Versa • Athlete May Also Run on Both Relays • Team Must Wear Same Color Jersey • Girls Identical and Boys Identical • BIB Number Must Be Worn at All Times • Replacement Bib Number Fee - $5.00 • Timing – Finish Lynx – Fully Automatic

  10. GRPA Rules – con’t • Shoes Are MANDATORY • No Spikes • No Metal of Any Kind on Bottom of Shoe • No Spiked Shoes Without The Spikes • Gloved Toe Shoes Are Acceptable

  11. GRPA Rules – con’t No hard material allowed in head attire. (no beads, plastic headbands, no elastic hair bands with metal or plastic pieces.) Glasses are permitted if prescribed Watches are permitted No jewelry (earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets)

GRPA Rules – con’t Field Events Measured in Yards 3 Tries per Athlete Exception – High Jump – 2 Tries per Height Standing Long Jump – Sand Pit Running Events Two False Starts = Disqualification 800 Meter Run – Staggered Start 1600 Meter Run – Waterfall Start Awards Medals – First Through Eighth Place

Admission Fee Gates Open: Friday @ 4:00 p.m. & Saturday @ 7:30 a.m. Daily Colored Wristbands are issued Athletes are FREE Adults - $2.00 Children 6 & Under - Free Event Programs - $1.00 Agency Representatives – Free – Must have department issued ID or Shirt. NO EXCEPTIONS Packet Pick Up By Agency Representative ONLY GRPA Rules – con’t

Schedule – Friday May 9th Order of Events 4:00 PM Track Open for Warm Up-Westside HS Stadium 4:30 PM Scratch Meeting – Infield 5:15 PM Opening Ceremonies 6:00 PM Pre-lims/1600m Finals/4x100 Relay Finals NOTE: ALL TRACK AND FIELD EVENTS WILL BE RUN AS CALLED. Each event will be run as soon as the station is available for another group. 5:45 PM First Call 1600M BOYS & GIRLS All Ages 1600 Meter Run Finals - 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys, 11-12 Girls, 11-12 Boys, 13-14 Girls, 13-14 Boys 100 Meter Dash Prelims - 7-8 Girls, 7-8 Boys, 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys, 11-12 Girls, 11-12 Boys, 13-14 Girls, 13-14 Boys 400 Meter Run Prelims 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys, 11-12 Girls, 11-12 Boys, 13-14 Girls, 13-14 Boys 7-8 Girls and Boys will be ran as a time final on Saturday 50 Meter Dash Prelims 7-8 Girls, 7-8 Boys, 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys 200 Meter Dash Prelims7-8 Girls, 7-8 Boys, 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys, 11-12 Girls, 11-12 Boys, 13-14 Girls, 13-14 Boys 4x100 Meter Relay Finals7-8 Girls, 7-8 Boys, 9-10 Girls, 9-10 Boys, 11-12 Girls, 11-12 Boys, 13-14 Girls, 13-14 Boys

Stadium Reminders • Tents on Top Row of Stands Only -Teams May Double Up In Front of Themselves • Restrooms & Concession – End zone near entrance to Stadium • Visitor Side is CLOSED • Bullpen – Enter From Behind Home Side Stands • All spectators are encouraged to Stay Off Fencing • Keep Athletes in Stands When Not Competing • NO PARENTS OR COACHES ON THE FIELD Agency Representative ONLY • Issues Handled by Agency Representative ONLY
