  2. What are the major threats for humans in New York Wetlands? -drainage and filling to provide more agricultural lands.-building of huge dams to store water for agricultural purposes. -water pollution.-unwise use of wetlands resources such as waterlogging.

  3. How are these threats impacting New York Wetlands? • -water pollution kills the animals and makes the dirty water making it hard for the animals to survive.

  4. What methods of preservation are not working in New York Wetlands? • Its mostly associated with the government trying to preserve the wetland swamps were damaging the trees.

  5. What methods of preservation are working in New York Wetlands? • One example would be Udalls Cove Park was created to protect restore and manage the nearly 11,000 acres of natural habitats within the park.
