  8. RDA Issues • Publication Date Sort: WebPAC & Encore • Problem in R2009B (Noted in SWANcom) • Workaround Now in Place: June 2013 • Fixed 4,000 existing bib records • Daily work by Bib Services, June - Fall • Fixed in R2011.1.3 Upgrade

Strategic Plan: Goals • 9 Goals Total, Here is What is Underway in 3-year Plan: • Goal: Recommend direction for SWAN integrated library system (ILS) platform • Board determines ILS Committee & Charge • Conduct informal demonstrations & investigation with other libraries, consortia • Determine length of extension with Innovative • Milestone: should we keep looking? • Goal: Create outreach program • Recruit 12 ambassadors: SWAN library directors • Assign libraries to ambassadors & schedule visits • Hold SWAN quarterly meetings at member libraries: 12 libraries for 2013-2015

Network Changes SWAN needs a new network • Old MLS domain must end (mls.lib.il.us) • swan.mls.lib.il.us = WebPAC • Move to independent network within RAILS data center (currently mixed in with RAILS Burr Ridge office network) • Current external & internal IP address must change • Prepares SWAN for any future network changes
