Elements are designed to have correct proportions and exert a positive influence on their surroundings.   5. Daoism • Daoist art focuses on nature. • Yin & Yang symbol. • Doaists believed in alchemy (changing common metals into gold). • Also believed in finding the elixir of life in search of immortality, obviously didn’t work, but did find herbs and minerals, and they learned about the human body.
