Stuart Davis was born in Philadelphia in 1894. He grew up in an artistic environment. His father was the director of a newspaper. • Stuart was an art student of Robert Henri for four years.
Stuart started out painting American Abstract then he switched to European Cubism. The whole reason he switched is when he took a trip to Paris.
Stuart later decided to switch his art style again. He switched to Pure Abstract Patterns. Then he started to introduce lettering. Stuart Davis had great and fun life. He later died in 1964.
