Purpose & Objectives Students will: • Gather and synthesize information using technological resources • Apply various strategies and multiple intelligences to Communicate in a variety of ways • Comprehend and interpret different texts • Use various intelligences to present knowledge created based on research of various authors • Use technology to enhance communication of their ideas
Set the Stage • Select an author or authors • Locate the author’s website • Gather books • Prepare minilessons • Plan an electronic meeting

Activities • Picking an author – group or whole class • Research • Study story elements of plot, characters, sequence, etc. • Identify illustration elements of style, composition, color, media • Hold a media conference if possible
