Summary of MODAPS Production 1/4 • Forward Processing (C5, C4.1 LST, 5.1 Atmosphere and Greenland IST) • Terra forward processing is at the leading edge. • Aqua is 2 days behind for dailies due to the Aqua Debris Avoidance maneuver on January 2. • Aqua C4.1 LST is 72 days behind the leading edge. Terra C5 LST is 32 days behind the leading edge. SSTG is investigating. • Browse Resend Status • Data and browse files have been pushed to the PDR server for the NSIDC DAAC. Work will start this week on resending the data and browse to the LPDAAC

Summary of PGE Deliveries to SDST 1/4 • Collections 5 and 5.1 • Land: • We have received a new version of PGE21 (more rigorous QA check). • We are expecting a new delivery of C5.1 PGE86 (Burned Area). • Collection 6 • Level 1: • We have received a new version of PGE01 ( v6.0.5) . • Atmospheres: • We have received C6 versions of PGE03 (for use with LeoCat), PGE06 (pre-C6 change), PGE69 (pre-C6 change) and PGE04. • We have received a new version of PGE06 (V6.0.13). • A new version of PGE04 (V6.0.4) has been baselined. • New versions of PGE69 (V6.0.1), PGE56 (V6.0.1), PGE70 (V6.0.0) and PGE57 (V6.0.0) have been baselined. • Land: • We are expecting a new delivery of PGE61 (level 4 VCF) in January. • We have received a new version of PGE21 (fix to metadata problem). • We have received a new version of PGE30. • A new version of PGE 90 with the ozone ancillary correction has been baselined. • We have received the collection 6 versions of PGE16 (LST), PGE75 (daily CMG), PGE21 (8-day Surface Reflectance), PGE90 (AeronetSubsetter), PGE30 (Fire), PGE72 (16-day VCF) and PGE11(LSR)

Summary of Science Testing 1/4 • Atmospheres Science Testing: • A science test for Terra and Aqua C6 PGE06 v6.0.13 is running and should complete later this week. • A science test for PGE04 v6.0.4 (8 months of data using C6 L1b and 8 months using C5 L1b) completed and is under review. • Land Science Testing: • A science test using the C6 version of PGE03 to process all C5 completed and is under review. • A science test for the new PGE11 (LSR) has started for year 2006. Years 2006-2010 will be processed in time order followed by years 2002-2000 in reverse order. Years 2006 through 2008 have completed for Terra and Aqua. • A C6 PGE13 and PGE 72 test has completed and is under review.

  5. Summary of Science Testing 1/4 • L1 Science Testing: • A C6 PGE01 (v6.0.5) has started and should complete later this week. • A second C6 L1b science test has completed. The test used land Terra and Aqua C5 codes and atmospheres Aqua C5.1 codes. This test is being reprocessed using the EPTOMS ozone data (OZ_DAILY)
