  2. What did we look at last week? • Be prepared to share!

  3. Let’s look closer at the land of Italy. • Aim: To be able to DESCRIBE Italy’s terrain, where people live and its weather.

  4. Why might people go here? Why do few people live here? This land is really FERTILE ( lots of things grow in the soil) what job might lots of people do here? High snow capped mountains. This coast line is rocky with many coves and inlets This is useful for shipping and tourism? The beaches here are long and sandy. What would this be a good area for? There are high steep sea cliffs here with bare mountains Can you think why few trees and plants grow here? It is much hotter down this end of the country can you think why?
