  2. “I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves about on the ground. I am the LORD who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy. These are the regulations concerning animals, birds, every living thing that moves in the water and every creature that moves about on the ground. You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.' “ - Leviticus 11:44-47

  8. Adam and Eve lost their perfect life, as a result of a choice. The choice to disobey God, which in essence means to reject God. Therefore salvation must include the reversal of that choice. Those who want to be saved must choose to obey God, which in essence means to accept God.

  14. “Unclean” in Leviticus doesn’t mean physically dirty, or morally sinful. It simply means ritually unclean.

Even as we know God loves us, will we trust and be opened to fulfill His purpose for our lives ? • God holds all life on earth as precious – Will we truly see other lives’ as precious? Will we seek God in embracing life, so as to live well and fruitfully ?
