  2. Want to tune pmcs for the top group.What was done. • Etmiss looked horrible. First concern. Go to the channel with no real missing energy – Z->ee • Also, some problems with jet pts. • Angle distributions for the jets and leptons looked fine! • Etmiss: • Fixed a bug: before fixing no correction for Etmiss due to the jets. • Implemented jet efficiency: before fixing efficiency of 100% for the jets was assumed. • Took into account soft recoil by degrading it and smearing. • Jets and electrons spectrum was fixed because of jet efficiency.

  3. Cuts. • Require at least two jets with pt>20GeV and abs(eta)<2.5 • Require exactly two electrons with pt>15GeV and abs(eta_detector)<1.1 or 1.5<abs(eta_detector)<2.5

  8. Plans. • Get suggestions. Does this look fine? • Generate other bgs and check them. Must be fine, since generated missing energy is higher for other bgs. We hope (don't forget about Merfi's low:). • Be ready for the next week to give bgs to Jeff for using them in the analysis.
