The Digestive System

Learn about the intricate workings of the digestive system, including how it breaks down food into nutrients and the path it takes through the body. Explore both the digestive tract, consisting of organs like the mouth, stomach, and intestines, and the accessory organs such as the liver and pancreas that aid in digestion. Discover the processes of mechanical and chemical digestion, as well as the important role of enzymes in breaking down nutrients.
