WWII

A very brief overview of the strategy during WWII, focusing on the initial question of where to begin (Germany or Japan) and the decision to put the emphasis on Europe first. The general strategy in the European Theatre, including the options of launching a Cross-Channel invasion or starting in North Africa, is discussed. The N. African Strategy is highlighted and its progression from N. Africa to Italy and then to France. The Pacific Theatre strategy, initially focusing on holding the line and eventually transitioning to "Island hopping", is also mentioned, with the turning point being the Battle of Midway.
