Code Enforcement Cont. • Of the 30 citations/letters sent • 1 for no yard (took effect August 13 for front yards of homes that were in place the time the ordinance was passed) • 5 for weeds on existing lots with houses • 1 for weeds on existing empty lot • 23 for junk or other nuisances on property • Inoperable vehicles • Illegal signage • Construction yard on empty lot • Trailer on empty lot • Other junk in yard (broken items, garbage,etc) • The new junk ordinance has made it easier to cite
