  • Provide broad and systematic overview of the American common-law system, especially key doctrinal principles, case law interpretation and analytical methods
  • Qualify and prepare eligible participants for international Bar examinations in New York and California jurisdictions through 20.0 unit study program

  • Basic foundational courses in American Law: Contracts, Torts, Property Law, Corporations, Civil Procedure/Evidence, Legal Writing Skills, Wills & Trusts taught by Berkeley Law faculty on-site in Berkeley, California
  • Specialized courses in Mergers & Acquisitions, Antitrust & Intellectual Property by reknown U.S. expert practitioners
  • Accelerated 14-week training format, with 4.5 hours of daily coursework, equivalent in substance to LL.M. degree program, but non-degree Certificate

  • NEW YORK BAR REQUIREMENTS
  • Undergraduate law degree with 75 weeks-1120 hours campus study
  • National Bar Examination passage highly preferred
  • 20.0 unit credits of study at ABA-accredited law school
  • CALIFORNIA BAR REQUIREMENTS
  • No LL.B. degree required
  • Licensed in non-U.S. jurisdiction
  • Formal U.S. law study encouraged, but not required
