Key things: • Key date: submission of all documentation to Pobal by Feb 28th. Contracts should issue in April with payments following shortly afterwards • Follow the checklist requirements and link with Derry O’Connor if needed. 01 5117305 or doconnor@pobal.ie • Appoint a lead person responsibility for getting/gathering items together. • Keep copies of everything you send in as well as minutes of any meetings you have around decisions on procurement
We are looking to fund projects which: • demonstrate that the proposed café would provide a safe and quality space for young people; based on the guidance set out in the Youth Café toolkit. • have a clear purpose and clear space. • will be widely used with an increase in services over time if possible.
If approved final funding • Expect to hear an outcome in April, contract will issue thereafter with 90% up front payment • Further events/training materials will be supplied/organised • 3 monitoring reports will be requested/online • Keep good books and records & follow statutory procedures: audit by Pobal, DCYA/Comptroller & Auditor General
