  1. President’s Basics How to succeed as the newly elected President of your chapter

  2. CONGRATULATIONS! Dear Chapter President: Congratulations on your election to lead your chapter’s management team for the coming year. Your members have entrusted you to ensure the well-being of their chapter and to improve their enjoyment of the Barbershopping experience. They’ve selected you to be their leader, not just a mere custodian, and to recognize, implement and manage the actions necessary to accomplish this. Your job is to make something happen that will move your chapter forward. If you don’t do this, your chapter will surely regress. Your legacy, when you look back at year-end, depends upon what you’ve caused to happen. Leadership is an up-front job ... so take charge! In harmony, Leon Klingensmith Leadership Academy Presidents Class (281) 856-2823 lgklingensmith@comcast.net

The Uncommon Man: The Individual in the Organization “All organizations, nations, societies, and civilizations will prosper and advance only to the extent that they can encourage common men to perform uncommon deeds. Only thus will emerge THE UNCOMMON MAN. Human association depends on the individual; on his skills and on his acceptance of responsibilities to conduct organizational affairs with effectiveness.” Crawford H. Greenewalt
